The caller is not making any sense at all. Of course he was in some agreement with what some of the Pastor’s at the Church. I would be a little more upset if what Rev. Wright and Father Pfleger said were untrue, but since I actually read/listen to the entire transcript, instead of a soundbite, I am slightly more informed.
What I fail to realize is why are so many Americans so idiotic as to believe that you have to agree with everything that people in your church say? He did what any smart politician would have done.
In order to win President of the United States, you have to make sacrificies. People just want something negative to say about this man. He would have been “damned” either way in this situation.

pmitchum When is it ok for a pastor to take God’s name in vain, and curse our country, when is it ok for a so called man of God to say that our government made aids to wipe out the black people? You sound like a Obama boy to this American. A man of God does not curse and take God’s name in vain! When is it ok for a pastor to say that we whites has raped the blacks and now we were going to pay the price! Sorry to disappoint you, but I had nothing to do with what my great great grandfather did. So get off my back I tell the blacks!

goodtimepolitics, it is much easier for you to say that… Simply because you do not personally have “bloody hands” does not mean that you do not benefit from anything that your great-grandfather has done. That is what’s real. Furthermore, I’m also sure that you do not care about issues like racism and discrimination, simply because you have no direct involvement in the matter. What you can do is change situations that has happened.
And a man that says “Whites have raped the Blacks…” is an honest man. A man that obviously knows his history. Just because he is calling people out on the problems and making people realize that America actually has problems, does not mean that he isn’t a man of God. In fact, it makes him more of one to me. So “get off your back, you tell the Blacks.” All I can do is laugh at what you were actually thinking when you wrote that statement.
I have never bashed any White today for what happened years ago, however, I want people to realize that institutional bondage is still occuring, and once you realize that, then we can actually try to evoke “change.” Yes, I said it CHANGE!

Honestly, I love to debate, so I hope nothing I’m saying is coming off offensive. I just wish people could engage in more conversations like this, instead of always bickering and bashing candidates they disagree with in more than just political reasons in my opinion.
