If we get out of this storm alive, and bring back a good solid Republican president with Republican congress, I am all for bringing H.U.A.C. back.

As far as I recall, the only ones against H.U.A.C. were the already well known socialist and communist actors and actresses, who tried desperately to appeal to the public to stand behind them to abolish H.U.A.C. so they wouldn’t be blacklisted for their own personal benefit.
