Go out there and thank a Soldier.
Go out there and call out the government corruption.
We can still get America back.

On this 4th July, 2009, my thoughts and prayers are with the people of the USA.
Lord God, be with all those good people who are trying to get their country back. Be in their hearts and minds, dear Lord. Help them to work from the truth they know in their hearts and to use the good minds you have given them to take their country back from those who would destroy it. Help them to expose and be rid of that man who is now sitting in their White House, like a great fat maggot parasite. Be with them, dear Lord, especially on this day. Through the Blessed name of our Lord Jesus Christ I ask this. Amen.

Blasphemy is not a joke. I feel sad for you folks.
Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 2:36 am
I don’t see any blasphemy, stophate. Who is taking the Lord’s name in vain?
Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 5:24 am
Matthew 5:44-45
5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

To All Patriots: Be blessed and may the coming battle not test this great country to the breaking.
Happy 4th

Stophate, I don’t think you understand what blasphemy is. Blasphemy, is the taking of the Lord God’s name in vain, or speaking in a disrespectful way, eg., swearing, in the name of God, or in the name of anything related, His Temples, His son Jesus.
Now, do you think that God wants us to just sit around praying for someone who wants to destroy a country and a way of life, someone who would kill viable unborn children? What about Hitler? Should the people of Poland, France etc., have just prayed for Hitler?
So, Obama is seemingly bent on destroying a way of life in the US. Should the people just sit and pray for him? Yea, we’ll just pray for all the dictators too, and for the mad mullahs of Iran.

We just got back from our local Tea Party. At least 500 people and a couple hundred flags and signs. Talk about a taste of Americana!
We started with a Pledge of Allegiance (I cried).
Followed by singing God Bless America (I cried).
Lots of speeches, signs and flags. Moments of silence to remember those that served so that we could live free. (I cried).
It ended with Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA” (I cried).
I hate what is being done to our country, but these gatherings give me optimism that people are waking up and taking action. I was proud to be among so many fellow ‘domestic terrorists’ who quote the Founding Fathers, the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution.
Happy Independence Day to all!

You are not a domestic terrorist, just someone who lost an election and would rather start a revolution than simply put up candidates that have something to offer America that doesn’t include hate and fear mongering. Singing patriotic songs does not make you a patriot. Grow up.
Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 6:17 pm
stophate – you’re a bore. Or a boar. Take your pick.
Nowhere did I write anything about starting a revolution. If quoting from the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution is starting a revolution, you’re even more pathetic than I thought.
Go drink more Koolaid and curl up in your corner.
Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 8:44 pm
Katie,
My point exactly, you folks are doing nothing. The whole Tea Party debacle is just another way of making all the little conservatards feel like they are doing something. Rah Rah, no go home. lol
Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 8:49 pm
Katie,
Yeah the Tea Parties today were amazing…I am very proud of my fellow citizens.

StoopidandHateful:
Why do you think an 11 trillion deficit is a good thing?
Why do you think 9.4% unemployment is a good thing?
Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 4:45 am
Hey ya’ll,
Have you ever noticed just how hate filled the “main stream democrat/progressive” is? For example the use of the word “conservatard”…It combines the word conservative and retard…how can one claim to stop hate yet use this kind of word? The word by it’s very nature speaks to the users feelings of superiority to those they deem intellectually inferior. By using such a word we can infer that the user has issues with people that are born with mental retardation. They have “judged” those individuals as somehow being less than themselves.
I have a first cousin who was born with mental retardation, and, I can tell you Tracy Lynn has taught me more about love and acceptance and tolerance than anyone else I know! She is by nature sweet and loving…she accepts you for who are…not what can she get from you. A lesson lost on those who run around using such debasing words as “conservatard”. By using that word we gleen insight into the twisted mind of a true bigot and self loathing hater of people that they deem inferior to themselves…If that is the platform of the “main stream democrat/progressive” than I say let the haters of the world wrap themselves in their hate and stew in it.

JC,
You hit the nail on the head.
All stophate has is name calling, intimidation and twisting what people comment.
I feel sorry for people like stophate, he has been indoctrinated to do this by his “handlers”.
stophate has no idea what right and wrong is, because he can’t think for himself.

IB,
stooptohate is steeped in hate, and, until he/she/it sees this error he/she/it will languish in servitude to the false god/idol BHO/Luicfer. Our words fall on a heart/soul devoid of substance and living only for what is in style at the moment. Sounds alot like BHO/Lucifer does it not?
Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 11:00 am
I would consider Conservitard rather mild compared to some of the vile language on this blog. Would you like some cheese with that whine ? Ask Kristy aka Cheese Wheel. I hear she makes one great cheese wheel. So good in fact that she uses it to communicate with God. Perhaps you shouldn’t throw stones at glass houses.
Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 11:13 am
IB,
See what I mean? We need only sit back and let the main stream democrat/progressives talk/post here. They reveal just how much they hate everyone who is not like them or cannot be convinced to “feel” like them. They deal only in what “feels” good to them…thinking for themselves never occures them.
Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 11:18 am
Goodness stophate, is English your first language? Not only do you not know the meaning of blasphemy, your idiomatic use of the language is not quite right.
“People in glass houses should not throw stones.” This doesn’t mean they are throwing stones at glass houses, but that they are leaving themselves open because their “house,” is made of glass, i.e., they are vulnerable.
Now, Obama’s actions may not be transparent, but his reasons are becoming more and more so. He appears to be the person in the glass house and he’d better be watching out because one of these days, it’s going to be shattered.
Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 11:21 am
JC,
I think it would be rather cruel to accuse stophate of doing too much thinking.
Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 11:23 am
AE,
I trust you have been well?
Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 11:50 am
AE,
LOL…you are sooooo right!
Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 12:13 pm
I am well, thank you, JC. And you?
Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 12:14 pm
Nicely, and very blessed to have been able to salute our troops yesterday.
Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 12:29 pm
JC, that is heart-warming. God bless those men and women who put themselves in danger for the sake of doing their duty. Maybe the day will come when we can beat our swords into plough shares, but until that day, God bless our troops.

THANK YOU AARON!
A father’s desire to honor his stepson, slain in Afghanistan on Independence Day, quickly became one of Twitter’s top-trending topics late Saturday and early Sunday.
“They killed my son, Aaron!” tweeted David M. Masters, a public speaker, author and weight-loss coach in Aberdeen, Wash., at about 6 p.m. EDT Saturday.
“He was minding his own business BS-ing with an Officer on base in Afghanistan… When a suicide bomber, driving a truck breached the perimiter and pushed the button…Killing my son, Aaron and the Officer,” continued Masters in three more “tweets,” which have a limit of 140 characters each.
“I’d like to see “Thank you, Aaron,” show up on the Trending Topics for giving his life on Independence Day in Afghanistan,” Master quickly added.
The phrase “#thankyouaaron” quickly rose up the Twitter charts and stayed there through Sunday morning, after which it was crowded out by half a dozen Wimbledon-related terms.
“Now THIS is a trending topic. Thank you’s to ALL the soldiers who make life in this country possible,” tweeted user “ProfitMoney.”
“#thankyouaaron and everyone else who has given their lives in the past for all of us, and for the ideas that built this country,” said user “KappaSigCraver.”
Others were more skeptical, noting that no news had been released about any American soldier named “Aaron” being killed on July 4.
But wire reports did note that two American personnel were killed Saturday as Taliban insurgents attacked a U.S. base in eastern Afghanistan’s Paktika province, an attack that also included a truck bomb exploding near the gates of the base.
The Pentagon usually takes several days to release the names of military personnel killed in action.
Another wire report said two members of the NATO-led multinational force were killed in southern Afghanistan Saturday, without stating the dead personnel’s nationalities.
Calls to the Pentagon’s public-affairs office went unanswered, and attempts to reach David Masters were unsuccessful.
But Masters related how he got the news of his stepson’s death to the Jerusalem Post.
“There was a knock at the door,” he told the Israeli English-language newspaper. “I was on the phone with one of my other sons, when I looked out the door and saw two full-dress officers on the porch.”
“We thought, oh, God, this couldn’t be,” Masters added. “We just talked to him last night. He said he never leaves the base, is playing video games, watching TV… and working out with free weights. … His life is led by God, strength and honor.”
Internet searches revealed that David Master has a stepson named Aaron Fairbairn, whose own MySpace page reveals that he is 21 years old and currently serving in Afghanistan.
One of his posted photos shows him at attention in an Army uniform.
Other family members’ MySpace pages referred to the news of Aaron Fairbairn’s death.
“Missing Aaron terriblly!!! Thank you for defending our country!! You are loved and will be remembered always!!! It still feels unreal!” wrote one of his brothers.
“R.I.P Little Brother…I Miss You and will Always Love You :( .. just landed in philly..on the way to delaware . waitin for aarons body to land,” wrote one of his sisters.
David Masters had Twittered earlier Sunday that his wife and two remaining stepchildren had flown to Dover, Del., to await Aaron’s body.
Masters has three children of his own, according to his family’s Web site.

So… I have this pet peeve.
On Christmas, we don’t say “Merry December 25th!”
On Halloween we don’t say “Happy October 31st!!”
When the New Year ball drops we don’t say “Happy January 1st!!”
I celebrated the United States of America’s Independence Day by declaring my independence from Barack Hussein Obama!

Hi everybody!
I’m back from the tea party. It was a good turn out at the Fort in St. Augustine. My husband posted a You tube video if anyone is interested in watching it. It’s called “St. Augustine Independence Day + 1 Tea Party”. (He posted the other one from April 15th, which is why this title has a +1 on it.) You can click the little information space on the left side to read what he says about it. He actually got me in the video too, but lucky for me it’s barely a glimpse. I’m not crazy about it. I thought I was safe! I have been a busy girl and have more work to do so I’ll be back later on. Please say a little prayer and cross your fingers that I can accomplish this act of mercy for our country. I don’t mean to be secretive about it; it’s just that if this doesn’t work out the way I want it to, I don’t want to be embarrassed! I hope you enjoy the video.
Monday, July 6, 2009 at 11:55 am
lo,
Cool! God’s speed in whatever your trying to accomplish!
Monday, July 6, 2009 at 12:55 pm
Thanks JC!
I’ll be back later on and tell you guys what I’ve been up to. I realized that I shouldn’t be embarrassed about this if it doesn’t work. I gave it my very best effort and got farther than I even expected, and my husband is very proud of me. That makes me very happy. I just hope and pray with all my heart that it works….if it does, then this hell will be over much sooner than later…yes, it’s that big!
I think I’ll call my husband “surfer baby”…he’s got auburn hair down to his waist. (I love those “hair boys”) and looks like Neptune. He loves the ocean and loves to surf.

Well done, live oak. Whatever it is you have put your heart into here, I am sure will be deserving of pride on your part and praise and thanks for others.
By the way, I have finally looked up, “live oak,” after coming across the term many many times in American literature. I had been wondering if these oaks were “live,” in contrast to dead ones, but now I know. I haven’t ever seen an evergreen oak! I think it’s probably a bit cold for them here in the UK.
Monday, July 6, 2009 at 1:52 pm
Thank you so much AE!!
The live oak can live over 200 years. I consider it a sacred tree, and it was to the Indians as well.
I’m not looking for praise or recognition for what I’m trying to accomplish. If I could be invisible and do it, well, that would be GREAT! It is just a simple act of love on my part. I’ve always been so proud to be an American and I’ll give all that I have to make her right again. I really mean that. Right now it’s a waiting game and it’s killing me…..but I’ll know soon enough. It’s hard to be patient but I have to sit tight….and say a lot of prayers. It’s out of my hands now.
Monday, July 6, 2009 at 2:02 pm
AE,
If you ever get a chance to go to Beaufort, SC go to a place called Sheldon Church, it is a pre-revolutionary site where sits a church that was burned during the War of Independence with Britain. It has live oaks all around and these trees are massive and when you touch one of them you can literally “feel” the life in them. I know that sounds kinda corny, but for a massage therapist, touch is the most telling sense of all. Anyway, if you have ever seen a movie called “The Patriot” with Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger there are swamp scene’s where the rebels were hiding out….in reality it is that church. Beautiful place and hallowed ground. I could almost hear the prayer services that took place there and the cemetery beside the church is just wonderous.
Monday, July 6, 2009 at 2:15 pm
Live oak,
I have heard that some of the aboriginal peoples of North America have the tradition of the, “Give Away,” that you do not fully experience something until you give it away by telling others about it. So, thank you for giving this away to us. It was necessary, you see! (Wish there were a rolly eyes smiley here!)
I have a beautiful book called, “Heartwood: Meditation on Southern Oaks,” photos of oaks in Louisiana by William Guion, poetry by Rumi. I have now discovered that Southern Oaks are “live oaks.” I too, hold that oaks are sacred trees, and they have been so to many peoples throughout the centuries; Celts of ancient Britain, Basque people of France, and of course the Druids, Druids meaning “men of the oaks.”
As a coincidence, I was emptying the pockets today of a coat I was about to put into a sack for a charity (thrift?) shop, and I found an acorn! I shall plant it tomorrow in a pot and transfer it to my garden once it has grown a bit.
Monday, July 6, 2009 at 2:38 pm
JC, that place sounds absolutely inspiring. I love visiting old churches and walking round in the grounds amongst the trees that have been living there for centuries.
Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 1:45 pm
I hope everyone had a good 4th of July. I am thankful that I live in a conservative town with many good decent Americans. It’s an oasis surrounded by so many corrupted leftist leaning liberals in my state.
